The price for scrap gold depends on its karat (22, 18 or 14), its weight, and the deduction for any non-gold parts such as stones or solder. The scrap gold calculator on our website gives you an approximate figure straight away at the live scrap buying price; the final amount is settled in the shop once the piece has been weighed and its karat measured. We will look at any piece whose karat can be measured; even without a hallmark, we test the karat in the shop and quote a price based on the result. The testing is done in front of you, so you can see exactly how the figure is reached. All of our buying and selling is fully documented.

In the shop you can pay in cash, by bank transfer or by credit card. For remote purchases we take payment by bank transfer (IBAN) and then ship by insured courier anywhere in Turkey. Message us on WhatsApp for the details and we will walk you through it.

For a bangle, measure around the widest part of your wrist; because the bangle has to pass over the hand, roughly 1.5 cm is added to that figure. For a ring, wrap a thin piece of string around the thickest part of the finger and measure its length in millimetres. Both calculations are ready to use on our Calculators page. The result is approximate, so we confirm it with a sizing ring when you come to the shop.

Add a few drops of liquid soap to warm water, leave the piece to soak for about 10 minutes, brush it gently with a soft toothbrush, rinse it and dry it with a microfibre cloth. Never use an ultrasonic cleaner on pieces set with stones, and never on pearls. We clean and service anything bought from us free of charge, so bring it in whenever it needs freshening up.
